Printmaking

I make block prints out of easy cut blocks & linoleum. I also sometimes do letterpress at Scale House Print Shop thanks to classes with Craft Studies.

Pumpkin

A white rectangle lays on a wood surface vertically. At the top is a block print of a skeleton key in a blue-ish green with the top of the key on the left. There's a noticible space below then another facing the same way but in bright green. A small space follows, then two more keys both with the top to the right. The first one is blue gray and the bottom one is green but only lightly so, like the printmaker didn't ink up the block again to print.

On a light pink rectangular piece of paper, [Enter ALGERNON, very gay and debonnair.] is printed in black in italics. Above and below are decorative swirls and lines.

Enter Algernon

A block print of a skeleton from the shoulders up, though their left shoulder and neck are mostly covered by what looks like a glass of wine. Underneath the print is a black blob on the left (my signature blacked out), "Skeleton Wine I" in the center, and 15/20 to the right,

On light brown paper, near the bottom it says "let that shit go" with an ornamental series of lines directly underneeth in green ink. The print does not line up with the paper.

Let That

Taking up most of the paper, using mostly the same font with some random differences: consider [art] as a side effect of something else: a certain state of mind that comes about when we gaze with open attention. Lynda Barry
