Bandanas

I make bandanas with hand-carved blocks in Speedball Fabric Ink on 100% cotton blanks from Bandana of the Month Club.

Each print on each bandana has been hand pressed there (often with the help of a baren). With anything super handmade, mistakes are made. Sometimes prints are stronger than others...sometimes I place something where I didn't intend to. No two are alike, even if I reuse a block and a design. Multi-colors means likely multiple days of printing had to occur. Bandanas dry for one week before washing in cold to make 'em last.

I've learned SO MUCH about designing a bandana since beginning this creative journey. The "Antigone Bandanas" were my first attempt which....explains a lot.
